Players Wanted: Girls U18 & U16 Mustangs:The Mustangs will be traveling to several Showcase tournaments this year. If you are interested in training and playing at the Premier level, traveling and receiving weekly professional training through the High Performance Soccer Academy, then the Mustangs invite you to tryout. If you are interested or have any questions, contact Goran at 680-9267 or goran@willowridge.ca. Boys U16 Arsenal: Arsenal is a first year U16 Team consisting of 1993/1994 players. This year the team has had some excellent results, i.e. defeating the 1992 Medicine Hat Crusaders. This upcoming outdoor season the team is looking for four or five Tier II calibre, hard working, committed players. Our goal is to play in Tier II at the highest level possible. There will be High Performance Academy training offered for individuals who wish to improve their skills and development. Boys U14 Gunners: The Gunners are looking for hard working, committed, skilled players to join them for the 2008 Outdoor Season. They are traveling to the Indoor Provincials as the Silver Place Tier III Calgary team and are striving for Tier II this summer. We are please to welcome Gee Mangayi as Head Coach and Bill Jensen as Assistant. Gee has had an impressive career as a professional player and coach and Bill has been with the Gunners for several seasons. Premier: We are actively seeking Coaches who are confident in their ability to successfully develop players and teams. Our independent philosophy is best suited to coaches who love the game and have a vision of where they would like to see their team and players develop. Each Premier team can set their own curriculum, roster (with or without our help) and their technical training. Competitive & Development: If you are interested in a new role as a coach or would like to develop your strengths as a coach, we have a true Professional Coach that is available to mentor and train our developing coaches. If you are interested in joining our team, call Francine at 271-2787 or 271-8044 or Henry at 200-4261 Referee Mentor Wanted: We are interested in securing the services of a qualified and keen senior referee who would be interested in mentoring our youth referees. This would be paid on an hourly basis and would require more time at the beginning of the season. Our experience is that the youth referees need more field training before we let them ref on their own. Please consider helping the next generation of referees to stay in the game!
