Volunteer Information

The success of our program and our continued growth has resulted in an extraordinary amount of additional work for a few brave volunteers! As a community organization, we are dependent on the participation of volunteers to support the continued delivery of our soccer program at the current rates.

A volunteer deposit of $75 dated June 30th, 2010 will help ensure that there are enough people to assist with the activities of the program. All families will be required to complete 4 hours of volunteer time each season. Understanding that some families may be unable to volunteer, we offer the option to add the $75 to their registration fee in lieu of volunteering.

Any monies received from volunteer deposits may be used towards subsidizing facility fees, program registration fees for subsequent seasons, equipment purchases, coach appreciation, eg. Club wear and hiring part-time staff as needed.

Volunteer hours will be documented at the team, the program or the CMSA/WRCA level. You will be given suggested volunteer roles to choose from during the registration process. You may also be contacted throughout the season for special events. Please remember it is up to you, the volunteer, to ensure that you fulfill your volunteer commitment.

Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.
