U6/U8/Super 8/U10 House League.
Our House league aim is to build a sense of community, belonging and volunteerism along with
teaching the children the love of the game. Having fun and
making friends is a social aspect that can be as important as
skill development. There will be soccer camps and technical
training opportunities throughout the season for those that are
interested in eventually playing at a higher level.
U10 Tier A. Top level of Calgary Minor
Soccer Association soccer in Calgary. Academy
participation is mandatory. Tournament participation is
common. Fund-raising to offset some of the cost is usual. Teams
participate in 3-4 soccer activities per week. Parent
coaches and independent third party volunteers.
U10 Tier B. Second level of Calgary
Minor Soccer Association soccer in Calgary. Academy
participation is recommended. Tournament participation is
common. Teams participate in 2-3 soccer activities per
week. Parent coaches.
U10 Tier C. Entry level of Calgary
Minor Soccer Association soccer in Calgary. Academy
participation is recommended. Teams participate in
2-3 soccer activities per week. Parent coaches.
Tier I. Highest level of soccer in
Calgary. The season leads to Tier I Provincials.
Academy participation is mandatory. Tournament
participation at local, national and international levels are
common. Fund-raising to offset some of the cost is usual. Teams
participate in 4-5 soccer activities per week.
Tier II. Second highest level of
soccer in Calgary. The season leads to Tier II
Provincials. Academy participation is mandatory for
U12-U16. Participation in local and national tournaments
are common along with Fund-raising to offset some of the cost.
Teams participate in 4-5 soccer activities per week.
Tier III. Third highest level of
soccer in Calgary. The season leads to Tier III
Provincials. Academy participation is mandatory for
U12-U16 entered in seeding rounds Tier II/III. Participation in tournaments is common along with
fund-raising to offset the costs. Teams participate in 3-4
soccer activities per week.
Tier IV. Developmental soccer
in Calgary. The season leads to Tier IV Provincials.
Academy participation is highly recommended for development. Participation in
tournaments is common along with Fund-raising to offset the
costs. Teams participate in 3 soccer activities per week.
Tier V. Developmental
soccer for the players who does not wish to make the higher
commitment level required for Premier level soccer. The
season leads to Intercity Championships. Academy
participation is available. Tournament participation is
optional. Teams participate in 2-3 soccer activities per
week. Coaches are chosen either from the parent group or
from independent third party Volunteers supplied by parent
group.
Tier VI. Recreational, for the player who does not
wish to make a huge commitment to the sport. The season
leads to City Championships. Academy participation is
available. Tournament participation is optional.
Teams participate in 2 soccer activities per week. Coaches are
chosen either from the parent group or from independent third
party Volunteers supplied by parent group.
