U16 Mustangs Win Gold In 2008 Tier I
Kelowna Ice Breaker Tournament:
The U16 Mustangs won gold in Kelowna over the Easter weekend, going undefeated for 5 games. The Mustangs only surrendered 3 goals
and scored 11 goals against their opponents. Congratulations to Brittany B. for winning the Golden Boot award in the tournament.
Brittany scored 7 of the 11 goals.

February 2008. Gu12 United
Tier II win GOLD in the CMSA 07-08 League and will represent our Club at the
ASA Provincials in March.

Internationals Tier III win Silver in the CMSA 07-08 League and will
represent our Club at the ASA Provinicals in March.
Gu10 Panthers
win Silver at the recent CMSA February Tournament. Coach Dave says
"The girls played well and other Coach Dave and I were very proud.
High Performance Soccer Academy technical training is paying off
everywhere!"
Gu16 Elite
place fourth at the same CMSA Tournament.
Gu18 Mustangs
placed third in Las Vegas and spent some serious shopping dollars!
Jan 2008.
Congratulations to the CMSA All Star Tournament MVP Award Winners
Celina Ellingwood and Keeley Gormley of the Gu12 WillowRidge United
team and Amanda Schafer from the Gu14 WillowRidge Milan team.
Jan 2008. The "United" team of Carburn and WillowRidge players
went undefeated to win the "Gold" medal at the CMSA January 2008 Tournament.
This is great example of the combined efforts and benefits of
Carburn Sports and WillowRidge Soccer!

Last few minutes were
very exciting but the girls hung on to win 2-1 against the Foothills
Gryphons. We are very proud of the newly formed team!
October 2007. Just back from the 2007
Women's World Cup in China! We were able to give our good luck
banner to the team the night before their Australia game. They
taped it to their dressing room wall and thanked us for our support.
Way to go WillowRidge!

Spring 2008. NEW
A full size game field has been built for the WillowRidge
Soccer Program. Stay tuned for future announcements on other
WillowRidge Soccer projects!
Anyone interested in joining one of our existing teams is
invited to contact the coach or the office to discuss having a
try-out with the team. We continue to offer self-directed
and lower cost Premier, Competitive and House League programs to
all players in Calgary.
